Jay Taylor, in the July 13, 2016, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, refreshes his buy of Auryn Resources Inc., recently $3.55. Mr. Taylor said buy on March 16, 2015, at $1.25 and on March 16, 2016, at $1.48. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the two buys, the $2,000 position is now worth $5,236. When Auryn first began to appear in the newsletter, Mr. Taylor was excited about its high-grade Committee Bay gold project in Nunavut, which by itself was enough to make Auryn one of his favourite exploration stocks. Now Mr. Taylor is thrilled that Auryn is becoming "even bigger and better" by taking over Homestake Resource Corp. and also acquiring two properties in Peru. Homestake's flagship property is its 3,600-hectare Homestake Ridge project in British Columbia, expected to become a high-grade underground mine. The two Peruvian properties, called Huilacolla and Curibaya, cover 33,600 hectares within gold-silver and copper-gold belts. Mr. Taylor sees each of these acquisitions as "hugely positive" for Auryn. Meanwhile, Auryn has not left Committee Bay behind, and is currently planning a summer drill program. Mr. Taylor reckons that good results will help the stock "rocket higher before the end of this year."
