AURYN RESOURCES INC. INCREASES PRIVATE PLACEMENT TO $7.15 MILLION

Auryn Resources Inc. has increased the non-brokered financing announced on Oct. 16, 2014, from $3.25-million to $7.15-million as a result of increased demand. The placement will now consist of up to 11 million common shares of the company at a price of 65 cents per share.

The company intends to use the net proceeds, as well as its existing treasury, to continue the pursuit of mineral property opportunities globally. At this time, the company has not entered into any definitive agreement with respect to any of these acquisitions.

The shares under the offering will be subject to a four-month hold period and will not be registered in the United States. No broker fees or commissions will be paid in connection with this offering.

Closing of the offering is anticipated to occur on or before Dec. 15, 2014, and is subject to customary closing conditions, including, but not limited to, the negotiation and execution of definitive placement agreements and the receipt of applicable regulatory approvals, including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
