AUREUS MINING INC. - BLOCK LISTING APPLICATIONS

Aureus Mining Inc. has made block listing applications to the London Stock Exchange for 47,818,744 common shares of nil par value each to be admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market. These block listing shares will be allotted from time to time:

• Pursuant to the exercise of options under the Aureus Mining stock option plan as defined in the company's AIM admission document dated April 7, 2011 (7,746,569 new common shares, which shall be added to the company's existing block listing);
• Pursuant to the exercise of warrants (40,072,175 new common shares, under a new block listing). These were issued to the providers of the subordinated debt facility entered into by the company in December, 2013, to subscribers in the equity raise completed in April, 2014, and to International Finance Corp. in respect of the investment announced earlier today.

The block listing shares will rank parri passu with the existing common shares of the company. It is expected that the block listings will become effective on July 31, 2014.
