ALTIPLANO ANNOUNCES AWARD OF OPTIONS

Altiplano Minerals Ltd. has granted an aggregate of 1.5 million incentive stock options to acquire common shares of the company pursuant to the company's stock option plan to directors, officers and consultants of the company, subject to the applicable policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The options were awarded as follows: One million two hundred fifty thousand are exercisable at 14 cents per share, and 250,000 are exercisable at 15 cents per share. All of the options vest upon grant and will expire in accordance with the plan and not later than Oct. 12, 2022.
