The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a mediocre 66-63-136. The TSX Venture Exchange gained 10 points to 781 while polished diamond prices were steady. Terry Tucker's Tango Mining Ltd. (TGV) lost one-half cent to six cents on 337,000 shares. The company, which recently received $410,000 in loans, is offering 60 million shares at five cents. It is also selling its Oena diamond project in Africa for $3-million (U.S.). Tango wants to acquire and resurrect the BK-11 diamond mine in Botswana.

Chris Taylor and Chuck Fipke's Dunnedin Ventures Inc. (DVI), unchanged at 12.5 cents on 9,000 shares, plans more till sampling on its Kahuna diamond project northeast of Rankin Inlet in Nunavut. The property-scale program follows the encouragement just obtained from a 2015 pilot-scale program. Mr. Taylor, president and chief executive officer, says those results "include identification of potential" -- veteran diamond investors will note the fudge -- for extensions to the known diamond-bearing dikes, new kimberlite targets, as well as possible diamondiferous kimberlites near some big but barren pipes.
