The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Friday was a cheerful 56-42-159 although the TSX Venture Exchange lost 11 points to 668. Polished diamond prices were flat. Robert Gannicott and Brendan Bell's Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC) gained 12 cents to $13.37 on 174,000 shares. The company will reveal its first quarter results on June 8. (Mr. Yarie uses the Howe Street version of "area," as LG is 400 kilometres northwest of Wemindji. He also stretches the notion of fertility to the breaking point, as the few kimberlites found between Wemindji and LG carried no more than a few small gems.)
