Raymond James Ltd. and two of its employees, Lori Pinkowski and Seth Allen, are defendants in a lawsuit filed in the Supreme Court of British Columbia by a North Vancouver retiree who complains that the firm mishandled his accounts. He claims that he moved his portfolio to Ms. Pinkowski after seeing her advertising. He says that the subsequent treatment of his account was sufficiently poor to warrant damages for negligence, among other things.
The allegations are contained in a notice of claim filed at the Vancouver courthouse on Dec. 1, 2017. The suit was filed by Ian Dungate, who identifies himself as an 80-year-old retired food agent. Also a plaintiff is a private entity that Mr. Dungate controls called Quest Marketing Ltd.
