Global Gardens launches Veggemo sampling program

VEGGEMO KICKS-OFF SAMPLING PROGRAM IN CANADA

Following the company's Nov. 5, 2015, announcement of the Canadian launch of its proprietary Veggemo non-dairy vegetable-based beverage line, Global Gardens Group Inc. has initiated the execution of a key marketing platform, which is to sample consumers both in stores and at key consumer trade shows.

To highlight:

  • In-store sampling: Veggemo will be executing in-store demos in about 500 stores in the coming months. This begins with 40 Walmart stores on Jan. 16, 2016, followed by a multitude of demos during the month of February at Save-on-Foods, Urban Fare, London Drugs, Thrifty Foods, Quality Foods and IGA Marketplace.
  • TED2016: On Feb. 16, 2016, Veggemo will be sampled at the TED2016 conference in Vancouver. TED famously attracts big-name speakers and an in-the-know, influential attendee list, thus providing an excellent forum to build Veggemo brand awareness.
  • Natural Products show: From March 10 to March 12, 2016, Veggemo is participating with a booth at the Natural Products Expo West conference and trade show in Anaheim. This is the largest show in North America and attracts health and wellness consumers, media, and retail customers.

"Our first priority has been, and continues to be, to grow and maximize distribution of Veggemo in stores across Canada. We have received very positive feedback from retail customers. To date, Veggemo can be found in popular retail banners like Walmart, Metro Quebec, Calgary Co-op, Save-on-Foods, Urban Fare, IGA Marketplace, Thrifty Foods, Quality Foods and London Drugs. Throughout the early months of 2016, we are confident Veggemo will be available at the remaining major Canadian retailers," stated Global Gardens Group chief executive officer Rob Harrison.

Wade Bayne, Global Gardens Group's vice-president, marketing, added: "We are well positioned to move to the next phase of our business plan. Now that Veggemo is available for consumers to purchase, we are poised to execute the marketing plan with a focus on raising brand awareness and capturing consumer trial. As part of this plan, we are kicking off our consumer sampling program both in stores and at key consumer events."
