TELSON RESOURCES INC. ANNOUNCES CHANGE OF NAME

In connection with the recent commencement of premining at Telson Resources Inc.'s Tahuehueto and Campo Morado mines, the company's board of directors has determined to change the company's name to Telson Mining Corp. The change will become effective at the open on Feb. 21, 2018.

Antonio Berlanga, chief executive officer and director of the company, commented: "Telson has been a publicly listed exploration and development company for many years, and I would like to extend our thanks to our president Ralph Shearing, who persevered often through challenging times to build a resource/reserve at our Tahuehueto project. Over the past couple of years, our management and Mexican mining team have made tremendous progress to advance Tahuehueto to preproduction mining and, of course, acquire and restart preproduction mining and processing activities at Campo Morado. We are extremely proud of these significant developments at Tahuehueto and Campo Morado over the past year and thrilled to have both projects in the preproduction mining stage, with concentrates being regularly delivered from both mines. Our new name reflects the significant development of our assets and our new focus as a mining issuer."

The company will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under its current symbol TSN.
