TASMAN ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF VICE PRESIDENT OF CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

James Powell has resigned from his position of vice-president of corporate development with Tasman Metals Ltd. to pursue a new corporate development opportunity with a large company outside the mining industry. Mr. Powell joined Tasman in July, 2011, to co-ordinate the company's investor relations program and advance general corporate development opportunities.

Mark Saxon, president and chief executive officer, stated, "All at Tasman wish to thank Jim for his commitment and valuable contributions to the company during the last four years and wish him well in his future endeavours."
