TASMAN ANNOUNCES SECOND TRANCHE PRIVATE PLACEMENT CLOSING

Further to Tasman Metals Ltd.'s news release of Feb. 11, 2014, the company has closed the second tranche of its private placement financing and has issued 1,044,077 units at a price of $1.10 per unit for gross proceeds of $1,148,484.70. Each unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant is exercisable at a price of $1.50 per common share for a period of three years expiring on March 31, 2017.

The net proceeds of the private placement are expected to be used to advance work on the company's Norra Karr and Olserum projects, and for general working capital purposes.

The company has paid a finder a cash commission of 7 per cent of certain proceeds and has issued a compensation option exercisable into 103,907 units with each unit having the same terms as the units issued under this private placement financing.

The securities issued under this private placement will be subject to a four-month hold period expiring on Aug. 1, 2014.
