SPACKMAN EQUITIES GROUP GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Spackman Equities Group Inc. has, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, granted stock options to five directors of the company to acquire up to an aggregate of 8,945,000 common shares of SEGI under the company's stock option plan. The stock options are exercisable at a price of 13.5 cents per share and shall expire five years from the date of grant or earlier in accordance with the plan.
