STINA APPOINTS ANTHONY D. HAMMOND TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Stina Resources Ltd. has appointed Anthony D. Hammond to its board of directors. Mr. Hammond is a mining engineer with 30 years of experience in mining operations in North America and Latin America. His expertise is in mining operations, mineral resource calculation, project management and economic analysis. He is regarded as an expert on vanadium and cobalt mineral deposits and has written a number of publications on vanadium mineral exploration, market and demand for this metal. He is a registered member of the Society of Mining Engineers, a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 norm and a professional engineer. The company is very fortunate and pleased to welcome him to the board.

Mr. Hammond replaces Russ Corrigan, who served as board member for the past several years. The company thanks Mr. Corrigan for his outstanding service to Stina. His contribution and expertise were invaluable to the company's development. Stina wishes Mr. Corrigan the very best in his future endeavours.
