STINA APPOINTS BRIAN STECYK TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Stina Resources Ltd. has appointed Brian Stecyk to its board of directors as chief communications officer. Mr. Stecyk has an extensive background not only in corporate communications, but also in corporate and political networking and public relations. Following a career in senior management at the Alberta government, Mr. Stecyk owned and operated a successful advertising and public relations firm that is now entering its 36th year in business. In addition to marketing and communications, his strengths include strategic management and planning. For several years, Mr. Stecyk was a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. The company is very fortunate and pleased to welcome him to the board.

Mr. Stecyk replaces Al Doherty, who served as board member and vice-president of geology and exploration for over eight years. The company thanks Mr. Doherty for his outstanding service to Stina as a great team member. His contribution and expertise were invaluable to the company's development of its resource properties. The company wishes Mr. Doherty the very best as he continues his work in the Yukon.
