SOLTORO APPOINTS DR. GLEN MASTERMAN TO BOARD

Soltoro Ltd. has appointed Dr. Glen Masterman as an independent director.

Dr. Masterman has more than 20 years of experience in precious metals exploration, resource development and business development, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board of Soltoro. Most recently, Dr. Masterman served as senior vice-president, exploration, for Kinross Gold Corp., where he managed global exploration activities and led teams on a number of important new, near-mine discoveries in Kinross's regions of operation.

As head of exploration, Dr. Masterman significantly enhanced Kinross's strength in global exploration and was ultimately responsible for delivering programs to replenish annual gold production. Dr. Masterman also oversaw exploration at the Tasiast mine in Mauritania which resulted in a major resource expansion and additional discoveries. Prior to Kinross, Dr. Masterman was general manager, exploration, for Bolnisi Gold, an Australian company that discovered and developed the Palmarejo silver and gold mine in northern Mexico. He commenced his career with WMC Resources and later joined Goldfields Exploration Ltd. and Placer Dome Asia-Pacific. Dr. Masterman graduated with a BSc (honours) from the University of Melbourne and earned his PhD from the University of Tasmania.
