SMC VENTURES PROPOSES TO EXTEND WARRANTS

SMC Ventures Inc. proposes to extend the expiry date of previously issued warrants to purchase up to 12.88 million common shares at an exercise price of five cents per share. These warrants were issued in connection with a non-brokered private placement completed in January, 2018, and are scheduled to expire on Jan. 3, 2019. If accepted by the TSX Venture Exchange, the company will extend the expiry date of the share purchase warrants to Jan. 3, 2020.

Trading in the company's shares has been halted pending final approval to the arrangement and reverse takeover transactions with Blockmint Technologies Inc., as announced in the company's news releases dated Nov. 16, 2018, and July 20, 2018.
