SOFTROCK ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF RIGHTS OFFERING AND FIRST Q FILINGS

Softrock Minerals Ltd. has closed its previously announced rights offering, which expired on June 7, 2018. Pursuant to the rights offering, the company issued an aggregate of 15,093,781 common shares and 15,093,781 common share purchase warrants of the company for aggregate gross proceeds of over $300,000. Each warrant entitles the holder to acquire an additional common share at a price of five cents per share for a period of two years. The proceeds of the rights offering will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

The first quarter and management's discussion and analysis filings are available in detail on SEDAR and indicate oil income was up slightly from the first quarter 2017 at $6,426.
