SAVANNAH ANNOUNCES EFFECTIVE DATE OF SHARE CONSOLIDATION

Savannah Gold Corp. has received TSX Venture Exchange approval to consolidate the company's issued share capital on a ratio of one new postconsolidated common share for every five old common shares. The consolidation will be effective at the opening of trading on Friday, March 3, 2017.

The company will keep the same name and stock symbol. The company's Cusip and ISIN numbers will be changed to 805011202 and CA8050112025, respectively.
