SABLE RESOURCES LTD - PRIVATE PLACEMENT CLOSING

Sable Resources Ltd. has closed its previously announced private placement financing raising $500,000 by issuing 10 million units at a price of five cents per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and a warrant exercisable for a period of one year at a price of 15 cents per share. All shares issued have a hold period expiring Jan. 15, 2017.

The proceeds of the offering will be used for a proposed 1,000-metre diamond drill exploration program of the company's Toodoggone property, for geotechnical investigation and upgrades to the Baker tailings storage facility located at the Baker mill site, and for general working capital.

Exploration fieldwork for a phase 1 geological and alteration mapping program on the Baker mine is complete and will assist the company's efforts to select future drill targets.

Stephen Pearce has resigned as an officer and director of the company. The company thanks Mr. Pearce for his years of service and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
