ARGEX ISSUES INVITATIONS TO BID TO GLOBAL EPC FIRMS

Argex Titanium Inc. has issued invitations to bid to three global engineering-construction firms for the construction of Argex's first industrial-scale 50,000-tonne-per-annum titanium dioxide plant. The prequalified E/C firms have each executed engineering, procurement and construction projects for chemical and industrial facilities, from front-end engineering design stage to successful completion, including commissioning of these facilities. Argex has selected Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Que., for the location of its plant. The plant will be located near the Port of Valleyfield and an existing comprehensive railway infrastructure conveniently linking Argex's future plant to suppliers and customers in the North American market.
