Brien Lundin, in the March, 2015, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Rare Element Resources Ltd., recently 96 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy five times between January, 2006, and April, 2009, at prices ranging from 43 cents to $1.09. He said take some profits -- perhaps sell half -- in April, 2010, at $3.45. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each buy, selling half of the $5,000 position at $3.45 yielded a $10,319 profit. Mr. Lundin said buy four more times between May, 2010, and October, 2012, at prices ranging from $3.23 to $12.89. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the four new buys, and taking into account the $2,500 investment left after the half sale, the $6,500 position is now worth $4,322. In August, 2014, Rare Element released a prefeasibility study on its Bear Lodge rare earth elements project in Wyoming, which showed a net present value of $330-million, an internal rate of return of 29 per cent and a payback period of 2.9 years on a 45-year project life. The company will continue to work with the United States Forest Service to complete an environmental impact statement on Bear Lodge. Mr. Lundin says Rare Element is a resource company with a great project and a niche in the commodities market. Hold.
