The International Speculator, in its April 4, 2014, issue, says buy Mark O'Dea's Pilot Gold Inc. at $1.42, officially, "Buy first tranche." The newsletter said buy three times between June 6, 2012, and Sept. 6, 2013, at prices ranging from 95 cents to $1.87. Assuming an investment of $1,000 for each of the three buys, the $3,000 position is worth $3,463. The writer notes Pilot raised more cash with minimal dilution. Despite his enthusiasm for the stock, he thinks investors may "see lower entry points ahead," a euphemism for "go down." Elsewhere in the issue, senior metals investment strategist Louis James says gold rose higher and faster than even the bulls at Casey Research expected. Those that bought stocks near the December bottom were handed some exceptionally generous profits. Mr. James says he has only received one panicky e-mail since the current retreat started in mid-March. He attributes this to the fact that while shares of his favourite gold promotions were down sharply in the final week of March, the share prices remain well above their December levels. For now, Mr. James is sticking with his conviction that gold will end 2014 much higher than today. "I think most of us are in this same mental boat."
