POWER AMERICAS GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Power Americas Minerals Corp. is granting 300,000 incentive stock options to certain officers, directors, consultants and employees of the company to purchase up to a total of 300,000 common shares of the company at a price of 12 cents per common share for a period of three years.

The stock options are subject to the terms of the company's stock option plan and regulatory approval.
