OROCOBRE ANNOUNCES FURTHER RELEASE OF FINANCIAL GUARANTEES

Orocobre Ltd. has provided an update on the release of additional cash security deposits, which back Sales de Jujuy SA's working capital facility in Argentina.

Following the release last week of guarantees of approximately $4.3-million (U.S.) on a 100-per-cent basis, a further release of approximately $4.35-million (U.S.) (100-per-cent basis) has been received. Orocobre's portion of the current release is approximately $3.15-million (U.S.).

Release of guarantees to the Orocobre group totals approximately $6.25-million (U.S.), which is now part of the group's available cash.

The releases mentioned above in U.S. dollars are quoted as approximate given they are denominated in Argentine pesos.
