JOHN E. WATSON ACQUIRES UNITS OF NV GOLD CORPORATION

John E. Watson has acquired ownership and control of 666,666 units of NV Gold Corp.

Each unit consists of one common share of NV Gold and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of NV Gold at 25 cents until Jan. 24, 2016. The 666,666 common shares forming part of the units represent 1.4 per cent of the outstanding shares of NV Gold. The unit shares, together with the 333,333 warrant shares, if issued, would represent 2.1 per cent of the outstanding shares of NV Gold (assuming only the warrants acquired by Mr. Watson were exercised).

Mr. Watson, the president and chief executive officer of NV Gold, now owns and controls 19,769,336 common shares of NV Gold, common share purchase warrants entitling him to purchase 6,783,333 common shares of NV Gold, and stock options to purchase an additional 175,000 common shares of NV Gold. The NV Gold common shares held by Mr. Watson represent approximately 41.2 per cent of the outstanding shares of NV Gold. If Mr. Watson exercised all share purchase warrants held by him and his options, he would hold approximately 48.7 per cent of the outstanding shares of NV Gold (assuming only the share purchase warrants and the options of Mr. Watson were exercised). Mr. Watson is not acting jointly or in concert with any person.

The units were issued in a private transaction and are subject to a hold period expiring on Nov. 25, 2014.

Mr. Watson acquired the units to assist with financing an exploration program on the Rattlesnake Hills project in Wyoming and to provide general working capital. Mr. Watson does not presently intend to make further investments in NV Gold. However, Mr. Watson may exercise any of the share purchase warrants or options held by him at his discretion and may decide to increase his ownership of the common shares of NV Gold in the future.
