Jay Taylor, in the March 16, 2016, issue of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, refreshes its buy of Novo Resources Corp., recently 79 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy five times from Aug. 16, 2013, to Sept. 16, 2015, at prices ranging from 66 cents to $1.20. A $1,000 investment for each of the five buys would now be worth $4,371. Mr. Taylor continues to rave about Novo's Beatons Creek gold discovery in Australia, which has returned gold-bearing reefs akin to those in a Witwatersrand-style deposit. The company has arranged a $2.3-million equity offering and a $2-million gold-backed debenture financing. Novo will use these proceeds to begin test mining and work on completing a PEA by the end of 2016. Mr. Taylor is curious about how these thin (one-to-two-metre-thick), flat-lying reefs can be mined at depth. He contacted Novo president and CEO Dr. Quinton Hennigh, who said that new shearing or cutting equipment is in place to mechanically mine these reefs. The editor does not anticipate a small-cap company such as Novo to undertake this kind of underground mining, but rather to continue exploration and eventually attract a major with financial and technical resources to mine the project. The stock remains a buy.
