Metanor drills 10.82 m of 12.78 g/t Au at Bachelor

2015-06-25 10:18 ET - News Release

Mr. Ronald Perry reports

METANOR INTERSECTS 12.8 G/T OVER 10.8 METERS AT BACHELOR MINE

Metanor Resources Inc. has provided an update of the exploration activity at its Bachelor mine. The team at Bachelor mine intersected 12.8 grams per tonne (g/t) over 10.8 metres in the area directly beside the sector already published June 22. The results are released in the associated table.

The holes drilled in the zone identified as 8-H-14 are in the area between levels 6 and 8 as indicated in the attached longitudinal section. The development of the top area of 8-H-14 on level 6 is under way. As of today, 23 metres of drift were excavated and the average diluted grade sampled is 11.2 g/t over 3.3 m wide. The development on level 6 is still going west (left on the longitudinal) and full width.

The holes drilled in the area 6-H-10 are directly above the zone 8-H-10 identified in the press release published on June 22. These results provide an excellent opportunity to expand the resource already published a few days earlier.

The results published today are from two drills located on level 6. A drill is also drilling on level 12 to the south of the mine. These results will be published as they are available.

The true width is between 65 and 95 per cent of the core length obtained in diamond drill holes. The cap-off grade used in the analysis is 51.5 g/t or 1.5 ounces Au. The samples were assayed by fire assay at the Metanor assay lab. The quality control program of the assay results (QA/QC) adopted by Metanor includes a minimum of 10 per cent of controlled assays being conducted as well as verification by an independent external assay lab.
