CANNVAS RETAINS MICHAEL BLUESTEIN AS EXTERNAL COUNSEL

Cannvas Medtech Inc. has hired Michael Bluestein of CC Corporate Counsel Professional Corp. to support and enhance the company's strategic partnership efforts, corporate governance directives and general legal requirements.

"Michael will provide strategic counsel to our organization and will be a key resource in our efforts to build Cannvas into a leading technology company in the cannabis health services sector," said Shawn Moniz, chief executive officer of Cannvas. "As a founding partner at Corporate Counsel, he provides senior counsel on a diverse range of issues to private and public corporations, and has a deep understanding of the legal landscape in the Canadian technology industry. We will also benefit from his extensive expertise in corporate governance and compliance, having recently completed our listing on the Canadian Stock Exchange."

Mr. Bluestein is a senior corporate and securities lawyer at Corporate Counsel with more than 10 years of experience working with public companies. His strengths include driving for results, strategic thinking and superior client service. Mr. Bluestein's goal is to provide clients with practical solutions to problems while being cognizant of turnaround time and budget.

Mr. Bluestein has a strong background in corporate finance and has advised a wide range of clients on private equity, venture capital, merger and acquisitions, and other types of transactions. He has advised numerous public companies and assisted with the creation of two new stock exchanges from the ground up. Mr. Bluestein also has extensive experience in the technology industry from his previous counsel roles as well as from founding a tech start-up. Mr. Bluestein's goal is to provide Bay Street expertise and service without the Bay Street price. He feels that clients should pay for great advice and not large overheads.
