MBMI ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

MBMI Resources Inc. has appointed, subject to regulatory approval, Vivian Yan to its board of directors.

Ms. Yan earned her MBA from London Business School in the United Kingdom, and a bachelor's degree in computer science and economics from Smith College in the United States.

Ms. Yan has over a decade of experience in financial services. She has worked with major financial institutions such as Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank. Her experience within the industry ranges from direct investment, corporate finance, relationship management, operational risk to trade finance. She also served as director and consultant to a number of companies, providing fundraising and strategic advice.

Joseph Chan, interim chief executive officer of MBMI, stated, "I look forward to drawing upon Ms. Yan's wealth of company experience as MBMI plans and executes its strategy in the coming years."
