Mr. James Horvath reports

LONESTAR WEST INC. ANNOUNCES STRENGTHENING OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Lonestar West Inc. recently made changes to its executive management team. Over the past month the company has been able to capitalize on the depressed energy markets to add several key management personnel, who will bring significant experience and depth to the existing operations team.

Pat Saunders has been added as the vice-president of United States operations, and brings with him an impressive history including a 36-year career with Halliburton, culminating as the senior district manager, leading and managing an area covering West Texas, mid-continent and New Mexico. Prior to that he held various senior positions in operations, well construction and completion technology, and product development in a variety of domestic locations ranging from the Permian basin, Rocky Mountains and mid-continent to the Gulf of Mexico. Subsequent to his tenure with Halliburton, Mr. Saunders was the senior vice-president of operations and chief operating officer for Allied Oil & Gas Services, the mid-continent region, vice-president at Rockwater Energy Solutions and the vice-president equipment technology for North America at the Keane Group.

Delanie Hill, CPA, CGA, has been promoted to chief financial officer at Lonestar. Mark Kearl, the current chief financial officer, will be leaving the company for a role based in his hometown of Calgary, effective April 30, 2016. Ms. Hill has extensive financial experience and an in-depth knowledge of the company's operations, as she has been with Lonestar since July of 2015, carrying out the role of financial controller. Prior to joining Lonestar, Ms. Hill spent two years working for an oil field service company, and 13 years at a national accounting and advisory services firm. Ms. Hill received her bachelor of applied business administration from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2005 along her certified general accountant designation. "We are pleased to have Delanie join our executive management team, as we focus on building out our business platform," commented James Horvath, president of Lonestar. "We would like to thank Mr. Kearl for his contributions to the team and wish him the best in his future endeavours."
