The International Speculator, in its April 4, 2013, issue, refreshes its buy of Mason Graphite Inc., 80 cents, officially, "Hold/buy first tranche/prepare stink bid." The newsletter said buy on Feb. 6, 2013, at 80 cents. Assuming an investment of $1,000, the holding is worth $990. The writer notes Mason Graphite is an advanced-stage graphite explorer moving a large and high-grade deposit toward development. He says the company released "exceptional" drilling results from Lac Gueret in Quebec. These included 31 metres of 24.3 per cent graphite. He calls Lac Gueret one of the highest-grade graphite deposits in the world, and it is still growing. He notes chief executive officer Benoit Gascon has relationships with end-users of the graphite products to which Mason would eventually be selling. Graphite does not have an international spot price; contracts are negotiated individually, which makes those relationships so important. The writer came away from a "due-diligence inspection" with positive impressions. Mason is a Forbes & Manhattan company, which makes it a Stan Bharti play. With $5-million in cash, immediate milestones will be covered, the writer says.
