The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing the documentation relating to an arm's-length subscription of a $2.5-million secured convertible debenture of Global Canna Labs Ltd. (GCL), with an annual interest rate of 7 per cent, convertible into a 30-per-cent interest in GCL. In addition, the company acquired a 5-per-cent royalty on GCL's net sales for a consideration of 15,854,141 common shares of the company.

The company paid a finder's fee of $128,750 in cash and 1,020,610 in common shares of the company in connection with the transaction.
