Killam Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust's 5.65-per-cent convertible unsecured subordinated debentures due Nov. 30, 2017, will be halted at the open and delisted at the close on July 4, 2016, according to the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The TSX reports that Killam will redeem on July 4, 2016, all of the issued and outstanding debentures at $1,005.263 per $1,000 principal amount of debentures, representing $1,000 principal amount of debentures, and $5.263 of accrued and unpaid interest. Alternatively, holders of the debentures may convert the debentures into units of the REIT until 5 p.m. (Halifax time) on June 30, 2016, at $13.40 per unit. This conversion rate represents approximately 74.6269 units per $1,000 principal amount of debentures.

According to the TSX, all trades on June 28, 2016, will be for special settlement on June 30, 2016, and all trades on June 29, 2016, will be for cash settlement on the following business day. All trades on June 30, 2016, will settle for cash on the same day.
