Brien Lundin, in the September, 2015, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Gold Standard Ventures Corp., recently 44 cents. Mr. Lundin said buy Gold Standard six times between December, 2010, and November, 2014, at prices ranging from 55 cents to $1.64. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the six buys, the $6,000 position is now worth $3,441. The company has started an 8,600-metre phase II drilling program on its Pinion and Dark Star gold projects along the Carlin trend in Nevada. Gold Standard will focus on targets identified in the phase I drilling program. The writer notes that the company will specifically drill three holes on the Sentinel target on the Pinion property, where previous rock sampling outlined a breccia-hosted interval grading 1.05 grams per tonne gold and spanning 27.4 metres. Mr. Lundin tells his readers that although the company has yet to find a spectacular target from drilling, Gold Standard is operating in an area where elephant-sized deposits do exist. The newsletter editor says he will watch the drilling program at Pinion and Dark Star eagerly, but he will keep the stock at a hold and wait to see the assays.
