Jay Taylor, in the Nov. 14, 2014, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says hold Gold Standard Ventures Corp., recently 57 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy three times from Aug. 15, 2012, to Oct. 15, 2014, at prices ranging from 60 cents to $1.20. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the three buys, the $3,000 position is now worth $2,164. Gold Standard had a working capital deficit of $2.8-million as of June 30. It subsequently sold $6.3-million (U.S.) of shares, providing enough funds to continue with its exploration program, although Mr. Taylor is not pleased about the dilution. Still, he thinks that the company's prospects are "very solid." He is willing to continue holding for now, and may even add to his position at some point if the timing looks right.
