GREAT PANTHER SILVER REPORTS ANNUAL GENERAL AND SPECIAL MEETING RESULTS

Great Panther Silver Ltd. has released the results of its annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on June 9, 2016, in Vancouver, B.C.

A total of 66,956,494 votes were cast representing 46.72 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares as of the record date for the meeting. All of the proposed candidates were duly elected as directors by shareholders present or represented by proxy.

Shareholders voted 96.72 per cent in favour of setting the number of directors at six, 97.05 per cent in favour of appointing KPMG LLP as auditor and authorizing the directors to fix the auditor's remuneration, 89.69 per cent in favour of the continuation of the share option plan with certain amendments, and 96.88 per cent in favour of approving and ratifying the shareholder rights plan.
