GEONOVUS ANNOUNCES FINANCING

GeoNovus Media Corp. has arranged a non-brokered private placement of up to 10 million units at a price of five cents per unit for aggregate gross proceeds of $500,000. Each unit will be composed of one common share and one share purchase warrant of the company. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase an additional share at a price of 10 cents per share for a period of 12 months. Proceeds from the offering will be used for the company's short-term payables and for general working capital.
