GEONOVUS SETS OPTIONS

GeoNovus Minerals Corp. has granted stock options to buy a total of up to 800,000 shares to a director and a consultant of the company, exercisable at a price of five cents per share for a period of up to one year from the date of grant.

The options have been granted in accordance with the company's stock option plan.
