GILDAN ACTIVEWEAR REPORTS ON SHAREHOLDERS' VOTING RESULTS FOR THE ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

The 10 nominees proposed as directors in Gildan Activewear Inc.'s management proxy circular dated March 8, 2017, were elected as directors of the company by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at its annual meeting of shareholders held on May 4, 2017, in Montreal.
