Taylor refreshes Falco Resources buy

2015-08-10 21:48 ET - In the News

Jay Taylor, in the July 16, 2015, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, refreshes his buy of Falco Resources Ltd., recently 38 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on Feb. 13, 2015, at 60 cents. A $1,000 investment then is now worth $633. Mr. Taylor is a big fan of Falco's Horne project in Quebec, which looks like it could become a "company-making" mine. He sees similarities between Horne and Agnico Eagle's profitable LaRonde mine. Horne has an extra advantage thanks to its depth. Most of the remaining mineralization at LaRonde is below 2,000 metres, whereas most of the known mineralization at Horne (based on Falco's maiden resource estimate of 2.8 million ounces of gold equivalent grading 3.4 grams per tonne gold) is above 2,000 metres. Falco has just completed a three-hole drill program to try to upgrade the resource estimate. In addition to Horne, Mr. Taylor likes Falco's major shareholder, Osisko Gold Royalties (which holds an 11-per-cent interest), and its chairman, Sean Roosen (who is also the chairman and CEO of Osisko). Their presence gives him confidence that Falco can make Horne a success. He concludes, "This stock is highly recommended for ownership when this gold market turns."
