FAIRFAX ANNOUNCES EARLY REDEMPTION OF NOTES DUE JUNE 22, 2020

Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd., on April 30, 2018, will redeem all of its outstanding 7.25 per cent senior notes due June 22, 2020, at a redemption price of 109.101 per cent of the principal amount of the notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest, if any. There is approximately $267.3-million principal amount of notes currently outstanding.
