Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. has completed the previously announced sale of its 97.7-per-cent interest in First Capital Insurance Ltd. to Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Ltd. for a cash purchase price of $1.6-billion (U.S.).
