Jay Taylor in the Oct. 15, 2014, edition of Gold & Technology Stocks, says buy Eastmain Resources Inc., recently 23 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on Sept. 11, 2004, at 56 cents, and sell on March 15, 2006, at 72 cents. A $1,000 investment at 56 cents, sold at 72 cents, would have yielded a profit of $265. Mr. Taylor said buy again on March 14, 2014, at 44 cents. A $1,000 investment then is now worth $522. The newsletter editor recently visited Eastmain's management in Colorado and discussed its flagship Eau Claire deposit, which is in Quebec. The high-grade deposit has open-pit and underground resources of 780,000 ounces of gold (mainly open pit) in the measured and indicated categories, with another 1.14 million ounces (mainly underground) inferred. Eastmain plans to update those numbers by the end of the year and then complete a preliminary economic assessment in the third quarter of next year. Its second significant project, called Eastmain and also in Quebec, has a historical resource of 250,000 ounces of gold. Mr. Taylor muses that the company's most logical option is to sell one or both of these properties, or itself, to a larger company. He predicts that the stock "will take many investors by surprise."
