The guest columnists believe Alberta's new climate plan will offer strong evidence in Ottawa's assessment of progress in this direction. The plan reflects a fundamental shift, acknowledging that polarization and conflict is not constructive. As producers and refiners, Mr. Edwards and Mr. Ferguson believe approval of the Trans Mountain pipeline would launch a new era in export opportunities for Canada and the industry. Approval of the Trans Mountain expansion project will benefit more than just producers, it will provide significant economic potential for the entire country.
