EMERALD HEALTH THERAPEUTICS APPOINTS AGRO-BIOTECH PRESIDENT

Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc. has appointed Thierry Schmidt as president of Agro-Biotech, the company's Quebec-based licensed cannabis production operation, effective Nov. 26, 2018. Mr. Schmidt brings 20 years of experience in marketing, brand advocacy, and general management; he has held senior leadership positions at Next Level Energy Inc., L'Oreal Canada and British American Tobacco.

Mr. Schmidt is a seasoned marketing executive leader with extensive experience in the consumer goods industry. He has held leadership and senior management positions in new business development, operations, sales, investor relations and brand/consumer development. As general manager at L'Oreal and chief marketing officer at Next Level Energy Inc., he managed product development focused on developing a sustainable and profitable business model as well as brand advocacy. Furthermore, in his business development and sales director roles at British American Tobacco, he successfully developed and launched a national trade marketing strategy.

Mr. Schmidt has been granted an option to acquire up to 125,000 common shares vesting over three years.
