The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Aug. 11, edition that after shares of Enerflex ($11.69) dropped almost 7.6 per cent on Friday, Raymond James analyst Andrew Bradford said a "more attractive entry point" for investors has opened up. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Bradford hiked his rating to "outperform" from "market perform." However, he cautions that a "dramatic drop" in bookings could "trump" other takeaways from the company's second quarter. Net bookings for that period were $37-million in Canada, though he noted that result included a $12-million cancellation. Mr. Bradford said: "So far there are no signs of further cancellations in [the third quarter], and it looks like 3Q (gross) booking should easily surpass 2Q levels. This gives us no choice but to elevate our bookings estimate. U.S. bookings were $50-million in 2Q, net of a $3-million cancellation. As with Canada, 3Q bookings are also trending higher sequentially, and as with Canada, Enerflex has seen no signs of further cancellations." Mr. Bradford raised his price target for the shares to $15 from $14. Analysts on average target the shares at $17.28.
