CI FINANCIAL REPORTS ASSETS UNDER MANAGEMENT

CI Financial Corp. had preliminary assets under management at Nov. 30, 2017, of $143.9-billion and total assets of $186.3-billion.

Assets under management grew by $26.8-billion or 22.9 per cent year over year and increased 0.1 per cent in the month of November. Total assets gained $31.5-billion or 20.3 per cent for the 12-month period and grew by 0.3 per cent in the month of November.

CI's average assets under management for the quarter to date were $142.0-billion, versus $120.3-billion for the third quarter of 2017. Average assets under management for the year to date were $124.7-billion, a gain of $13.8-billion or 12.4 per cent from the average for fiscal 2016.

CI reported assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel of $42.4-billion at Nov. 30, 2017, representing an increase of $4.7-billion or 12.5 per cent year over year.
