CANACCORD GENUITY EXPANDS INVESTMENT BANKING GROUP WITH THE ADDITION OF HEAD OF AEROSPACE, DEFENSE AND GOVERNMENT SERVICES

Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. has appointed Greg Agnew to its investment banking team as managing director, and head of aerospace, defence and government services.

"I am pleased to welcome Greg to Canaccord Genuity's investment banking team," said Dan Daviau, president of Canaccord Genuity Inc. "His deep sector experience and industry relationships will be a natural complement to our existing industrials platform and our first-class research coverage in the aerospace and defence sector."

Mr. Agnew will be based in Washington and will focus on leveraging Canaccord Genuity's global capabilities to deliver a broad range of investment banking services to companies in the aerospace, defence and government services markets, including public offerings, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions advisory services.

Mr. Agnew joins Canaccord Genuity from FBR Capital Markets, where he spent the past 10 years, most recently as a managing director in the diversified industrials investment banking group focused on the aerospace, defence and government services markets. Prior to FBR, he served as a member of the investment banking division of Jefferies Quarterdeck. Mr. Agnew holds a bachelor of science in economics from the Florida State University.
