Bonterra Resources Inc. is facing a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of British Columbia from its former president, Navjit Dhaliwal, and former vice-president of exploration, Richard Dale Ginn. The men are each seeking a $1.09-million payment that they say was owing to them with respect to their resignations from the company. The money became payable on March 25, 2019, but Bonterra has so far failed to send payment, the men claim.

The allegations are contained in a notice of claim that Mr. Dhaliwal and Mr. Ginn filed at the Vancouver courthouse on April 8, 2019. The men say that the payments stem from agreements that they entered on Feb. 5, 2019, in which they agreed to resign as directors and officers of the company. The company would pay them each $1.09-million within five business days of completing a financing.
