BIG ROCK BREWERY INC. ANNOUNCES TORONTO BREWPUB

Big Rock Brewery Inc. plans to establish a brew pub restaurant in the Liberty Village neighbourhood of Toronto, Ont. Big Rock has signed an offer to lease a space at 60 Atlantic Ave. and expects to be operational in early to mid-2015. This is the corporation's second foray outside of its home province of Alberta, having announced previously a brewery and restaurant in Vancouver, B.C., which is currently under construction.

The property at 60 Atlantic, which is owned by Hullmark Developments Ltd., has already been developed as a multiuse facility and has a large outdoor patio area. "The Liberty Village site, at the corner of Liberty Street and Atlantic Avenue, will provide a great opportunity to share our beers and demonstrate our beer innovation," said Bob Sartor, Big Rock's chief executive officer. "Over the past two years we have produced over 40 unique and different beers, but very few have found their way into Ontario. With this brew pub, we will be able to showcase our beers and ciders, and share them with everyone. We are excited about putting down roots in Liberty Village, a vibrant urban community within Toronto, and we will continue to evaluate other opportunities in Ontario and beyond."
